Can a bank help you find your lost card?

We care the ATM cards a lot, and it is safe all the times. But what if it is lost, stolen, misplaced or eaten up by the ATM machnice?

You must sign yourself on the back of the card to make sure that it is only yours. Lost cards might be given to you after matching the signature on it. Many times, the bank office near the ATM spot might collect and keep it, when they find out a card. Being in a hurry, it is likely that you will forget it to take it out back from the ATM machine. Or, sometimes, the machine snatches it and does not return the card whenever you use it wrongly.

But what if somebody using your card put you into serious troubles by missing it somewhere? Rarely, the card goes back to the bank. A misplaced card migiht not be got back. In such cases, you MUST phone to the bank office, tell your problem, give them your identity and request to disable the electronic use of the card. This is likely to save your money from being withdrawn with a card.

Users would be in a heaven, when, somebody from the bank calls you back and informs, they have got your card! Whenever a card is found within the bank, they should disable it immediately, to save you as a happy customer! They should have an electronic processing to disable the lost/found cards, and phone back to the original owner to report; it was found!
